Meet Dr. Gagnon
Dr. John Gagnon has provided oral and maxillofacial surgical care in the Wichita community for more than 25 years. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, education, and service to the dental community. He has also volunteered with the Kansas Mission of Mercy and the Sedgwick County Health Department Children’s Dental Clinic.
Dr. Gagnon earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency through Detroit/Macomb Hospital Corporation, with additional training in pediatric oral surgery and hospital dentistry. He has also served in academic and professional leadership roles, including as faculty for the Advanced Dentistry Residency Program at Wichita State University and as President of both the Wichita District Dental Society and the Kansas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Gagnon is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
As a second-generation Kansas State graduate, Dr. Gagnon has longstanding ties to the Manhattan area. He and his family continue to share a connection to the community, including one of his two sons who currently attends Kansas State University.
